Video game retailer GameStop has announced that it is now accepting pre-orders on Madden NFL 13. The game is set to launch on August 28 and if you pre-order at a GameStop location, you get some nice pre-order bonuses. The bonuses include two free playable characters.

Those that pre-order will get Barry Sanders and John Madden for use in the Madden Ultimate Team and the new Connected Careers modes in Madden 13. GameStop PowerUp Rewards members that pre-order will also get access to Calvin Johnson Jr in the Madden Ultimate Team mode.
GameStop is also offering a series of videos called Madden Mondays. The videos will talk to different members of the Madden 13 development crew giving some behind-the-scenes information about the design and development of the game. Those videos will kick off July 16 and run through August 27 on the GameStop Facebook page.
